Happy Birthday, Scott!

Scott's birthday was Saturday. He's getting OLD. He's only one year away from the big 4-0. He he! At least I'm still a couple of years away from that. Anyway, we didn't get to do much on his actual birthday, because Scott's cousin's daughter, Ashleigh, was baptized on Saturday and we went out to dinner after with everyone involved. But Scott did get to go skiing on Thursday and yesterday we had his family over for dinner and cake. We played Rock Band most of the night. It was really fun. Everyone rotated through the instrument and singing and it was just as much fun to watch the others perform as it was to participate. Cuz, there's nothing quite like hearing my brother in law, Mike, singing falsetto! It's such an addiciting game. You keep telling yourself, just one more song and next thing you know, you've done twenty!

Here's Scott with his birthday cake, ready to blow out the candles. I decided on the number ones, so there wouldn't be a major fire hazard in the house. It'd be a really big bummer to burn the house down when it's so cold out.

Scott's birthday cake. I didn't make any of it. I'm the cake buying kind.
