Nikki

It's my turn. It's kind of awkward writing about yourself. Well, here goes. I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. I love being a mom. I hate being a housekeeper. Kudos to those who do it for a living! I'm not a good housekeeper either. So, please, don't ever stop by my house without giving me at least two hours notice to clean my house! Yes, I'm one of THOSE women. My house is usually cluttered and messy. At least, until I can't stand it anymore and then I go on a cleaning spree. Although, I can't stand to have dirty dishes sitting in my sink. That's one thing that I don't ignore!

You know how you always have about 3 or 4 callings in the church that you think would be great to have? The calling on the top of my list is the music chorister in Primary. I've had the privilege of having that calling for the last year. I LOVE IT! I have so much fun teaching the songs to those kids! I love interacting with them and getting to know them. And we have the biggest primary in the stake, even though we were split last spring! Besides this blog, the primary is my big creative outlet. And I get to sing. What more could I ask for?

I'm also a mom taxi. What mother isn't? I limit my kids to one activity per child, just so that I can manage the taxi time without going insane. So, it's back and forth to school, piano, dance and soon Porter will be in pre-school. Well, as soon as I can get the boy potty trained. I admit, it's totally my fault that he's still wearing diapers.

Ok, that's about all I can write about me, so I think I'll turn it over to my dear, sweet, handsome, strong husband. Be gentle.

Where to start. Nikki is very fun to be around. She is always good for a laugh when you need to brighten your day. She does a great job raising our 4 somewhat demanding children.
I have shown our blog to guys at work and they really enjoy the way Nikki writes on the blog. She is very good at writing about our life. Nikki reads so many books that I am sure she has a great grasp of writing styles that she is able to write on the blog with humor and whit. She has talked about writing a book at some point, but I think this blog is a great outlet for her. I am not as good at writing as she is, so read fast to get to her writing. She keeps this family together. We have a wonderful family and it is because of Nikki and her way of dealing with the kids that makes our family a very happy family. I also have the privilege to be in our ward's primary and see Nikki lead the kids in music. She is soooo good with the kids and teaching them music. The kids really love her. She always has kids from primary come up to her to say hi even outside of church. I still need her Christmas list so I can shower her with gifts.(Hint, Hint) Well that is about all I can think of. I LOVE YOU TOO.
