A Small Pet Peeve

So, I just have to vent for a minute and I hope that none of you do this, so I don't have to get on you for it. But just last month or the month before, there was whole article about appropriate dress for church. And I may not always follow (I don't wear tights in the summer), I at least dress my children in dresses.

Lately, there has been this trend with little girls wearing leggings underneath a dress. And while I think that is adorable, (Hali has several pairs) I don't let her wear them to church. Leggings are NOT tights! At least one little girl every Sunday has a pair of legging, which in my definition means pants. Would you let your girl wear pants to church? I can understand if this were families who didn't come very often or didn't know better, but this is usually girls who are very active and their parents should know better. Today, it was a little girl, who's mother is a former YW Pres and Primary counselor and her father is currently in the bishopric. Come on, people. You should all think like me and know how to dress your children! Cuz, I'm perfect in this department. Trust me, I am.
