So, this is how things work in this household. Whenever, there is new technology purchased, Scott gets the lastest and greatest and I get his hand me downs. It's just how it works.
So, yesterday, my lovely son thought he could play a game on my iPhone and pee at the same time. Yes, I said pee. And you can imagine how that worked out. He's not as talented as he thought. So, now my phone isn't functional. I guess the good thing about it all is I get a new phone. And maybe an iPhone 4! Woo Hoo!!! I get the new technology before my husband! I will have the better phone!!! Yes!!!
Well....not so much. Seems my phone isn't eligable for an upgrade. So I pay a small fortune for a new phone or I wait until August to upgrade. I can't even get my same phone without paying more for it now, than I did origionally!! Are you kidding me?! But the "good" news is that Scott's number is eligable for a upgrade. Seriously?! So, now, the cheapest way to fix this is by Scott getting the new iPhone 4 and I get his current phone. Figures.

The kids found a Christmas ornament that we bought before Zoey was born that had all our names, except hers.
Zoey: Where is me?
Mom: You weren't born, yet.
Zoey: But where is me?
Mom: You were still in Heaven.
Porter: Yeah, you were with Jesus.
Zoey: Oh! I LOVE Jesus!
Then her face just fell and she said, "but He died for us."
I guess even at four they listen!

Zoey watched the movie Beauty and the Beast for the first time today. During the moment that the beast turns into the prince, she slapped her hands over her mouth like she couldn't believe such a great thing could be happening. When the prince dramatically turns around to show his princely side, she got this really puzzled look on her face. Then said to me, "Him looks like a girl!"

A couple of minutes into sharing time, Zoey tells her teacher, "Her keeps talking and talking all the time!" Then she climbed onto her teachers lap and fell asleep.

Porter: "Well...she was going crazy!"

Mom: "Don't worry. They will go away."
Porter: " I guess I can't do swimming lessons anymore, because I don't want Grandpa Hands again."

Dad: "Where did you hear about a nasty president?"
Porter: "I went to the North Pole and a penguin told me that if you get a nasty president, then you die."
(And just for the record, we haven't said anything about President Obama being nasty.)
